School Nurse Hacks

Hey school nurses, after a Facebook post about giving sugar to relieve (non urgent) allergic reactions, I want to write a post discussing unconventional tips and tricks that people have used that you wouldn’t think of or that others don’t readily know.

Do you know a magical cure for lice that we don’t know about already? Perhaps a special way to relieve bruises or scratches? Miracle cures for tummy aches? Fancy methods to get a ring unstuck from a finger? Something your grandma always did to fix things? miracle splinter removal cures (I know a few of these myself after Splintergate 2000 happened in my house) Anything you can think of let me know!

Bonus points if you have any scientific evidence to back your methods. I will also give credit of course for those that want credit for their tricks.
